Looking for the perfect sculpture for your living room or kitchen?
This type of fine art doesn’t just enhance a garden but is a lovely touch inside a home. Whether you’re after a human figure or sculpture depicting wildlife, it will bring a unique ambience and magic to any room.
Christine Baxter offers fine art suitable for indoors or outdoors, including human figures of exquisite beauty and elegance.
Her indoor sculptures include many bronze resin pieces which draw inspiration from a variety of sources, including Greek mythology. This collection includes fine art depictions of winged goddesses. The goddesses in Greek Mythology were powerful female deities, they are depicted with power and force.
“Bronze resin”, also known as “cold cast bronze” is a technique that can be produced in the artists' studio without the need of a foundry. It uses real Bronze powder mixed with resin and poured into the moulds that Christine has made from her original sculptures. They can then be patinated with the same chemicals that traditional foundry bronze is treated with.
Visually it is indistinguishable from hot cast bronze but is a much more affordable technique.
