Initially modelled in a soft modelling wax, then a mould was made and cast into cold cast bronze resin. I had recently returned from a trip to Cordoba in Spain and had the pleasure of watching Andalusian horses and Flamenco Dancing. I was inspired to capture the power and essence of the iconic poses they strike using just the torso. Stand included. 32cm high 41cm with the stand. Stand included.

This is a study of a Spanish Dancer considering the stretching and turning achieved during the dance. I initially made the piece in wax and then cast it into Bronze resin, this cast is in Verdigris bronze.
