Female torso
This is a sculpture I made in a life drawing class, the model was in a reclining pose. At the end of the class, I wasn't satisfied with what I had produced, going to throw it in the bin, I lifted it up and when I had it upright, I realised it had the possibilities. I worked on it without the model exaggerating its elemental qualities.
