Ariel - Cutaway
The model for this portrait head was a personal friend. She was visiting for a few weeks, and she was a student LSE. She was the model for a portrait class and there were 5-6 people who did her portrait. When the portrait was finished, I changed the angle of her head and added the wind-swept design to her hair to create the impression that the wind was blowing through it. This design was heavily inspired by a famous scene in the film Titanic.
